Top 3 Ways to Relieve Your Anxiety

Hey Guys! It's been a while, and I'm glad to be back after a well-needed break. I was struggling a lot with lack of motivation, depression, and just things going on in my personal life, not to mention we are still in a pandemic! With the things going on in my personal life and in the world, my anxiety reached its peak. 


Anxiety can wreak havoc on your life if you let it, but I'm going to give you my top three tips to release some of that anxiety.

HYDRATE:


When you're experiencing anxiety, your body temperature may increase. Hydrate yourself with cold water to cool your body temperature. 


BREATHE:


Use the 4-7-8 breathing technique to slow your heart rate. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold it in for 7 seconds, and continuously exhale for 8 seconds. 


SEROTONIN:


Serotonin is known as a mood stabilizer hormone or the hormone that is released when you're happy. Listen to something happy or funny to boost your mood. Listen to some good music (like my Spotify playlist) or watch a funny show or movie. 


Anxiety can be tolerable if you are self-aware and notice its signs early.
